With over 25 years of dedicated service in education, ministry, administration, and leadership, Dr. Sean Odell brings a wealth of experience to Nelson University. His multifaceted career spans Christian education, pastoral ministry, and private sector administration, all rooted in a commitment to fostering environments that reflect principles of excellence.

As an educator, he has consistently focused on providing efficient student support and enhancing student education. His approach emphasizes teamwork, ensuring that all endeavors align with a commitment to faith and service.

In addition to his educational roles, Dr. Odell has served as a pastor and administrator in churches in Pennsylvania, Oregon and Texas, where he led initiatives that integrated spiritual guidance with practical leadership. His leadership style is characterized by a servant-hearted approach, aiming to inspire and equip others to live out their faith in all aspects of life.

At Nelson University, Dr. Odell continues to dedicate himself to nurturing a community where education and faith intersect, preparing students  to lead lives of purpose. He currently teaches preaching courses, including undergrad, grad and doctoral. He also serves as the content expert for the church revitalization and church planting specializations.
