Career Readiness Rooted in Faith

While designed to prepare students for meaningful careers, each new program remains firmly grounded in Nelson’s commitment to integrating faith and learning.

“Spiritual formation is at the heart of who we are as a university,” says Provost & Vice President for Academics, Kimberly Trewern.  “We want students to grow in character and faith while they’re growing academically. That growth happens as they learn to take ownership of their own spiritual formation through the guidance of faculty and the integration of faith and learning in the classroom. It also continues through mentoring, chapel, and thoughtful discussions that encourage reflection and application. Everything we do is designed to help students connect what they believe with how they live and lead.”

A Long-Term Vision for Academic Innovation

The university will continue to evaluate emerging disciplines and workforce trends, launching new degrees annually to serve both student ambitions and societal needs.

With strong academic foundations, innovative program design, and an unwavering commitment to faith and excellence, Nelson University is building a future that prepares graduates to lead with purpose, integrity, and impact.
