This annual scholarship is endowed by the Pointer, Harris, Parks, Brase Families in memory of William “Liam” David Harris. This scholarship is awarded with preference to on-campus church ministries or church leadership majors in their junior or senior year with financial need and exhibiting Christ-like spiritual character, a true heart for advancing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, academic achievement (3.0 or higher), and leadership potential. Endowed with heartfelt thanks to the Nelson community who prayed so fervently and were so supportive of Liam.
